Hi guys, I recently got hold of some more pictures from the photoshoot I did a while back, so thought I'd show you. They're already on my Facebook page so sorry if you've already seen them. I tend to post stuff on there faster than here so 'like' me if you want more updates about my professional makeup work. The rest of the photoshoot pictures are here: http://hues-n-blues.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/my-first-photoshoot.html

Geek Chic Cosmetics: All the Rage and The Pointy End - Swatches & Review
Hi guys! I finally have a little bit of time on my hands to do some proper blog posts! Today I've got some swatches of eyeshadows from Geek Chic Cosmetics. I've never tried anything from them before, and I've been pleasantly surprised!
I ordered samples of All the Rage (from the 10 Man Raid collection) and The Pointy End (from the Win or Die collection). I had to try a Game of Thrones shadow! Here they are:
I swatched them over Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

Dairy of the Dead!
Hi all! I'm feeling pretty ropey at the minute so no makeup looks to show you. Just thought I'd share the finished film I worked on a couple of months ago. It's a short film about zombies, made by a friend of mine for his uni course. I hope you enjoy it, it's a good laugh hehe :)

My First Photoshoot!
I just remembered that I never posted the photos from my first photoshoot, which I did a couple of months ago. It was a test shoot with a lovely photographer called Tish. I was really nervous but it was a lot of fun and I think I did ok!
The models were lovely as well, and we got to shoot outdoors which was brilliant! Hope you like the photos :) I'll be posting more of my 'professional' work if any of you are interested!
P.S, my giveaway is still open, so go enter to be in with a chance of winning some lovely Silk Naturals makeup. HERE.

EOTD: Sugarpill Heartbreaker-esque
So since Sugarpill released their new shades in the Heartbreaker palette, I've been lusting after it. But as I'm trying to save money, I thought I'd check to see if I had any similar colours in my stash. Turns out I did, and although I can't compare the colours, I think they are quite close. Here's a look I did with them:
I used:
Shiro Cosmetics Banzai (similar to Mochi, but paler)
Fyrinnae Omgwtf (similar to Acidberry)
Fyrinnae Darling Misfit (similar to 2am)
Fyrinnae Parental Advisory (to darken the crease)
Sugarpill Lumi
I used Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk under the shadows to help the colours to look their brightest.
Hope you like it! P.S. don't forget to enter my giveaway to win Silk Naturals makeup! http://hues-n-blues.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/silk-naturals-giveaway-enter-here.html
